BEHIND THE PHOTOS

Fun Fact: This was one of my first portrait photo shoots! This session was fun because I was able to experiment with making the oboe the focus of some photos and a prop in others. It was also challenging because I had to find ways to make each image look different through posing, framing, and location. This photo shoot primarily took place on Art Hill, Central West End, and at Washington University. Gerhardt is extremely talented and incredibly passionate. Although this session was focused on his oboe and musical talent, he also studies biomedical engineering at WashU. Gerhardt was a natural model and I am so happy with how his photos turned out!
